Sevilla, Valencia, and Bologna hand lifeline to Super Eagles forward
Top European clubs are reportedly vying for the signature of Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar, who is struggling to show his worth at Real Sociedad, Soccernet.ng reports.Â
The Nigerian international joined the Reale Arena outfit in the 2022 summer transfer window from Almeria but has only netted four goals in his 39 appearances for the Spanish club.
The former Partizan player has been heavily linked with a move away from the Donostia-San Sebastian-based club, with a few clubs offering a lifeline to the Nigerian attacker.
According to reports circulating in the Nigerian media, the Super Eagles striker is being eyed by two Spanish clubs, Valencia and Sevilla, as well as one Italian side, Bologna, all of whom are interested in loaning him.

There has not been any official statement from Nigeria’s camp or his club regarding these reports, but it is highly anticipated that the Nigerian has been under pressure at his club.
Sadiq faced significant setbacks at Real Sociedad last season, with an Achilles tendon injury sidelining him for roughly seven months. Consequently, the 27-year-old was limited to just 15 starts out of 53 potential matches across all competitions.
The Nigerian international eye more playing time away from Real Sociedad as he draws interest from three European clubs who are offering to give him a chance.
