Shriners Children’s Open 2024 betting previewMany gamblers in Las Vegas will choose to shove their chips back onto a winning number.
And going in again on the bet that’s previously paid out has proved a profitable strategy in this event too.
Look at recent history at the Shriners Children’s Open and three of the last six winners – Tom Kim, Martin Laird and Kevin Na – were hoisting the trophy for a second time.
Cashing in on past course form is clearly a smart play in Vegas so Kim is likely to have plenty of money thrown his way again following victories in both 2022 and 2023.
The 22-year-old is a deserved favourite this week at TPC Summerlin, a 7,255-yard par 71 situated around eight miles north of the famous Las Vegas Strip.
Koreans have actually won the last three editions here: Kim twice and Sungjae Im in 2021.
Winning scores have ranged from 20-under to 24-under in the last six years so this is very much a birdie-fest.
Despite some wind over the first two days, expect scoring to be low again and with conditions set to be perfect for Sunday’s closing round, don’t rule out that magical 59.

Home in on Harry HallHarry Hall sounds English. And, in fact, he is English.
But less known is his connection with Las Vegas.
The 27-year-old went to University there and still lives in the iconic Nevada city.
That local knowledge has clearly boosted his chances of success in this event and three starts at TPC Summerlin have produced finishes of eighth, 15th and 26th.
Hall returns this year as a PGA Tour winner having landed July’s ISCO Championship and he put in two strong performances on a recent return home to England, posting 12th in the British Masters and 18th at the BMW PGA Championship.

Roll the dice with Rickie FowlerRickie Fowler has the sort of star power that would make him a fitting winner under the bright lights of Las Vegas.
His course form is mixed but seven previous visits have produced a fourth and a seventh.
He’s struggled in 2024 after finding his mojo again last year but a switch of equipment at the Sanderson Farms earlier this month had an immediate impact.
Fowler shot four rounds in the 60s, finished 16th and hinted that a seventh PGA Tour win could come his way soon.

Tom Hoge to win battle with Taylor PendrithThe best 72-hole match bet this week is Tom Hoge getting the better of Taylor Pendrith.
The case for Hoge is a strong one.
He claimed seventh spot in his latest PGA Tour start and has previously finished fourth, seventh, 14th and 24th at this week’s course.
Pendrith ended the season in good form too and was third here last year but he didn’t make the top 40 on his other two visits and his erratic driving could find him out on a course where straight hitting is rewarded.
