Khama Billiat during his time at Kaizer Chiefs.
Former Kaizer Chiefs star Robson Muchichwa says Khama Billiat must be regretting turning down the offer from Kaizer Chiefs.
Billiat is currently clubless, as teams seem to have no interest in his services, with the latest being SuperSport United.
An insider at SuperSport recently informed this publication that the player is not the same after being out of action for as long as he has been.
“For me, Billiat dumping Chiefs without having a concrete better deal somewhere was a wrong move,” Muchichwa tells KickOff.

“First of all as an agent you need to get a better deal for your player before advising him to leave where he is needed. You don’t cancel a deal when you don’t have any concrete deal elsewhere.
“To me, it seems these guys Khama and his agent, whatever his name is, they rejected Chiefs without having clinched any concrete deal elsewhere. If you are a manager, first of all you make a deal for your client before you move him. It was a wrong move,” he added.
“Billiat has not kicked a ball for more than seven months now, they must be regretting their decision. It’s difficult for teams to buy a player who hasn’t played for seven months.
Judging by his current situation I’d say the Chiefs deal was much better because a player can’t be without a team for seven months. It’s difficult to make a comeback when you haven’t played competitive football for seven months.
“I mean if a team signs him now, they can only start using him next season. This season there is nothing much Khama can do. He still needs time to get himself fit again.
“So I think him leaving Chiefs was the wrong move. In terms of his football career, nothing is happening at the moment.”
