Chippa United have tightened their grip on Stanley Nwabali following recent transfer talk over the Nigerian international.
Chippa United have tied down their top goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali to a new contract.
Nwabali has been topical in transfer-related talk since the beginning of the year, with several clubs mentioned as being keen.

Chippa were then reported to have placed a R40 million price tag after his top performance at the AFCON finals.
Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise were mentioned as being interested, along with Cadiz from Spain.
Chippa have now taken a step to keep the 28-year-old longer.
“We are pleased to announce that Stanley Nwabali has signed an improved three-year contract with Chippa United FC.
“We are incredibly proud of Stanley’s dedication and commitment to the club.
“His leadership on and off the field has been exemplary, and we believe he is the right person to guide our team through the challenges ahead. With this been [sic] said Stanley will be our new team captain for the upcoming season.

“In addition, we would like to announce that Chippa United FC and Mamelodi Sundowns FC have agreed on a transfer for Gadinkame Modise. The player has signed a 3-year deal with us.
