Comedian and actor Flymotion says his vote is a secret.
JUST because Flymotion was seen on video endorsing the IFP doesn’t mean he’ll vote for the party, come Wednesday, 29 May.
The 47-year-old comedian and former Gagasi FM presenter, whose real name is Sandile Makhanya, said he’s not politically affiliated and works with anyone who pays him.
He said this after a video emerged on social media on Tuesday, 21 May of him endorsing the IFP.
He told Daily Sun his vote is a secret and won’t reveal the party he will vote for.
“I know the party I’ll vote for. Unfortunately, I won’t reveal which one. As an artist who gets most money from bookings, I must not brand myself as voting for a political party so that people are comfortable to book me,” Flymotion said.

Regarding the IFP video, he said he was in Durban when he came across the party campaigning with other artists and decided to endorse it.
“This was not the first time doing a video endorsing a political party. I also did a video endorsing the MK party and that didn’t mean I’ll vote for the party,” he said.
Flymotion, who recently left Gagasi FM, said he won’t return to radio as he suffered to a point that he hated it.
His focus is now on comedy and acting.
Flymotion is currently shooting The Khumalos, which will air on Netflix.
