“I WOKE up at 5am today. Excited for my first day at work today.”
Those were the words of Penny Ntuli, a former Gagasi FM presenter who has found a new home on Jozi FM.
The Durban-born radio personality is excited about her new job at community radio station Jozi FM after she left Gagasi FM over R2 800 payment offer she received.
The 26-year-old joined regional commercial radio station Gagasi FM in May 2022 and worked with Felix Hlophe and Alex Mthiyane.
She was a host on the Massive Weekend show.
Now, she has been hired by Jozi FM, based in Soweto, Gauteng.

The radio personality promised not to disappoint and said she knew what she came for in Jozi.
“For those who say moving from Commercial to Community Radio is a downgrade are the same people abaphilela ukuMaintaner a status,” said Penny on her Facebook post.
Ntuli will host the Mid-Morning Chat show from Monday to Friday, between 9am and noon.
“Please welcome me to JOZI FM 105.8 (Channel 878 on DStv),” said Penny.
Jozi FM welcomed Penny to their station.
“Welcome to a new era of captivating conversations! Join us as the dynamic Penny Ntuli takes the helm of the Mid-Morning Chat show on JoziFM for the very first time,” said the community radio station.
Penny’s fans welcomed her with warm messages on her social media and promised to listen to her show.
