It was around this time of the year 16 years ago that Valery Nahayo found himself at the centre of interest from Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs after Jomo Cosmos were relegated.
Sundowns were quick to reach an agreement with Cosmos boss Jomo Sono over the transfer of Nahayo.
