Following claims that the chaos at Moroka Swallows are orchestrated by team manager Elasto Kapowezha, Andile Jali has given his side of the story.
Komphela has openly told various media houses that Kapowezha made it difficult for him to perform his coaching duties at Swallows and how the team was a mess behind the scenes, with poor logistics around the running of the team.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach also revealed that the Zimbabwean kept him in the dark with developments at Swallows since December last year and suggested that he was the main reason the Birds were in a mess.

The erudite tactician even went as far as pointing out on Metro FM Sports that all the teams Kapowezha managed, the likes of Witbank Spurs, Maccabi FC, FC AK ended up being relegated.
Jali, who had his contract terminated by Swallows, has backed Komphela and says it was the first time he had such an experience at a club under Kapowezha.
“Steve doesn’t lie, when he says something he means it. If he says I don’t want that person, you must know. He wanted to fix him, the things he’s supposed to do,” Jali said on 947’s MSW.
“The guy never learned and I’m still shocked that he played this game but he’s treating (us)… you know what let me leave it. It’s so painful when you see someone who has been in the game treating someone not to grow in his game. It’s not nice.
“I don’t know when I meet that guy how I’m going to greet him. It was the first time in my career I see someone like this, who played football in his whole career and then, manage different clubs but still does things the way he wants, not the way he’s supposed to do things,” he added.
Jali is still in court dispute with Swallows following his dismissal, as he is now unattached.Â
