Motsepe Foundation Championship side Black Leopards have finally broken their silence on their Namibia international, who is being strongly linked with a move away from the club.
The first-division leading scorer Bethuel Mazeu is being scouted by a few clubs both in South Africa and abroad.
Leopards chairman Tshifiwa Thidiela says the club will not stand in the Namibian’s way in case they receive a good offer.

“There was always an interest in Mazeu, even before the Africa Cup Of Nations,” Thidiela tells KickOff.
“There’s a couple of local teams interested in the player, but the aim is to first try to get the team promoted or at least get a spot in the playoffs.
“Not necessarily that he will only be allowed to leave if the club fails to get promoted.
“If people want him we will release him even if we do get promoted, we always release our players.
“It’s just that sometimes some clubs tend to be disrespectful with their offers.
“Like now we have interest from Saudi Arabia, we’ve got interest from Sudan, there’s also something from Europe but I haven’t spoken to them.
“Then there is an issue of clubs who base their offers on the fact that a player is playing in the first division so the price must be lower.
“And there is no such thing, quality is quality, playing in the first division doesn’t diminish your price.
“So the problem comes when people undermine you based on who you are and where you are playing.
“But as a club, we never stand in the way of players, actually Khuliso Mudau went to Mamelodi Sundowns when we got relegated.
“It was us who went out and said here is a player because he doesn’t deserve to play in the lower league.”
The Limpopo club is currently in position 8 on the log table with 26 points gathered in 19 matches, 10 points behind table toppers University Of Pretoria FC.
