Snl24 | Ngizwe sings a different tune about Malema!
Ngizwe Mchunu will host a counter event to the EFF’s manifesto launch on Saturday, 10 February.
WHEN former Ukhozi FM presenter, Ngizwe Mchunu, threatened that EFF leader Julius Malema will enter the Moses Mabhida Stadium over his dead body, many people asked themselves what he would do because Malema has powerfully bodyguards.
EFF will be launching their manifesto at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 10 February.
But Ngizwe is now singing a different tune about stopping Malema from entering the stadium.
Instead of stopping Malema from entering the stadium, Ngizwe, who is a self-appointed president of Amabhinca, has organised a counter event on the same day at Gugu Dlamini Park.
Ngizwe said he didn’t want “his people” to attend the EFF manifesto launch, but wants them to attend his event called Sivula Unyaka Festival.
He said it’s all systems go for his counter-event and even got permits to host it on Saturday and sold his cows to host it.
“There will be a cultural carnival on Saturday and it coincides with the EFF’s manifesto launch. I planned it a long time ago. Our cultural carnival will start on Botha (King Dinuzulu statue) and proceed to West Street to Durban Workshop. I will be slaughtering cows for food,” he said.

Asked what had happened when he said Malema will enter the stadium over his dead body, he ducked and dived.
In December 2023, Ngizwe came under fire when he insulted Malema and used tribal slurs against the people of Limpopo, where Malema comes from.
Ngizwe also said Malema should ask for his permission before coming to Moses Mabhida Stadium to launch the party’s manifesto and ask for permission for Amabhinca to attend the launch because they will not attend it without his permission.
After that Ngizwe faced a backlash that led to him losing his car ambassadorship deal with JAC after the EFF requested it.
EFF spokesman, Sinawo Thambo, told Daily Sun they are not interested and have no comment.
