Nkosazana Nolwazi Kimberly Nzama ā better known as Nkosazana Daughter ā and Kgaogelo āMaster KGā Moagi have continued to keep Mzansi singing and grooving to their chart-topping hits ever since their singles Dali Nguwe and Sofa Silahlane grossed tens of millions of views on YouTube.
The pair have been creating their quintessential Afro-pop music ever since meeting in 2021 to the point of becoming close friends with an undeniable chemistry in the studio.
They both describe their friendship as one with mutual respect where they play off of each otherās strengths.
āNkosazana is an amazing song writer and singer too,ā Master KG explains to TRUELOVE at an exclusive launch for their first joint album Makhelwane ā an ode to their friendship and being as close as neighbours.
āAnd, another thing, thatās the reason why weāve been doing this together for some time, itās always easier for us to do it. Like, a song doesnāt really take us that [long] to put it together. So, Iāll already know what kind of a beat that sheāll sing comfortably on. When she comes to the studio, Iāll just press play then she likes it and then there she goes, singing the song, a song weāve just made within an hour.ā
āSometimes, two,ā Nkosazana adds.

The pairs’ soulful joint project beautifully blends Wanitwa Mosā signature Limpopo bolo house sound with the essence of amapiano.
But what exactly is Wanitwa Mos? Wanitwa Mos emerged as the alter ego of Master KG, allowing him the creative freedom to experiment with different beats and genres that he wouldnāt typically explore as Master KG.
He sees Wanitwa Mos as a chance to embrace new possibilities and continuously push the boundaries of his musical journey, keeping his sound fresh and evolving within the industry.
Many remember Master KGās explosive hit Jerusalema featuring Grammy Award-winner Nomcebo Zikode, which reached millions of people across the globe. Nkosazana Daughter is also a formidable force in the world of music in her own right.

At just 23 years old, Nkosazana has been catapulted into the limelight, which she describes as not always being easy to deal with. Especially with unfounded rumours of her and Master KG being romantically involved.
āThe limelight is crazy, I mean, itās insane. Obviously, everyone is thinking ukuthi āOh Nkosazana Daughter is dating Master KG!ā Iām telling you. Firstly, let me start there, let me just tell you that Iām not dating Master KG. Heās a brother, a friend and we work so well together and I feel like once you mix business with pleasure, itās two different things. You canāt do it,ā she emphatically explains.
Through all of his success, Master KG has always made it a point to maintain humility and shares what he would tell his younger self.
āI would like to say to my younger self, stay humble, donāt change, donāt let the money change you, donāt let the fame change you and never stop working and also always believe in yourself. Because also me as Master KG where I am today, if I never believed in myself, I donāt think anyone would have [sic].ā
Nkosazana is still searching for those wise words sheād tell her younger self but she says, āI think sheās in there and sheās happy to see me. Iām glad that she was patient.ā
