Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have confirmed the arrival of two new players ahead of the close of the January transfer window on Friday.

The Buccaneers, who recently parted ways with Cameroonian striker Bienvenu Eva Nga, have announced the signings of Thabiso Lebitso and Thalente Mbatha from Chippa United and SuperSport United respectively.

Lebitso joins the Buccaneers on a two-and-a-half year deal, while Mbatha joins on an initial loan deal until the end of the season, before a decision will be made on what happens after that. Pirates have an option to purchase the talented midfielder from Matsatsantsa.

Lebitso was a key player for Chippa and will be expected to make an impact with the Soweto giants.
