Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena says it was difficult for his side to “play against two teams” after dropping points against Polokwane City.

Sundowns dropped points for the second successive game after a goalless draw against Polokwane City on Saturday evening.

The Brazilians thought they had broken the deadlock with 18 minutes remaining after Peter Shalulile scored from a through ball by Themba Zwane but the goal was disallowed for a foul by Zwane after the referee consulted with the linesman, who was in line with the action.

In his post-match interview, Mokwena was seemingly not pleased with the how game panned out.

“You really wanna know what I think? No, I’m gonna be in a lot of trouble if I say what I think,” Mokwena told SuperSport TV.

“I can’t ask of my players to do more, it’s difficult in a match where you already play against a very good side in Polokwane City, so we congratulate them for the point.

“And it’s very difficult to play against two teams, so…

“From today’s game? There’s no silver-lining, South African football is in big trouble, we’re in big, big, big trouble,” he added.
