DURBAN’S renowned traditional healer, Dr Khehlelezi has made a startling prophecy concerning the future of Ukhozi FM presenters, following the death of Bheka “Beekay” Mchunu in March.

Dr Khehlelezi, born Bhongolethu Mzozo, claims God has informed him of the impending deaths of two more presenters within a year — one in a hospital and the other in a car accident.

Spirits and CleansingHe said there are roaming spirits at Ukhozi FM that need to be taken out through a cleansing ceremony which can be done by certain churches, izangoma and traditional healers.

The station recently mourned the loss of presenter Beekay, who succumbed to a prolonged illness marked by pain and breathing difficulties.

Recent illnessesShortly after Beekay’s death, presenter Zanele Mbokazi experienced similar symptoms, leading to a lung cancer diagnosis post-operation.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Dr Khehlelezi denied the presence of any evil at Ukhozi FM, as assumed by people on social media. However, he pointed to the unrestful spirit of a person who died a long time ago and was deeply attached to the station.

He emphasised the need for a cleansing ritual involving white candles and incense to eradicate the lingering spirit.

Khehlelezi warned that without such intervention, station presenters might face severe illnesses and peculiar ailments, particularly in their feet.

“As we speak, there’s an Ukhozi FM presenter who is gravely ill, and her illness was more when she entered the studios,” he said.

Responses to the ProphecyZanele Mbokazi’s publicist Nqobile Mdluli told Daily Sun they wouldn’t comment on Dr Khehlelezi because they served an omniscient and omnipresent God, who is the creator of all life.

SABC acting group executive: corporate affairs and marketing Mmoni Seapolela told Daily Sun the SABC has no comment on the views of Dr Khehlelezi.
