A WOMAN (29) was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend (34) to death.
The incident allegedly took place on Friday, 29 March at the victim’s home in Sehlakong area of Mabosana Village in Bolobedu, Limpopo.
According to Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the suspect contacted her boyfriend’s mum and told her that a heated argument with her son had escalated, leading to the tragic stabbing.
“When the mother got to the victim’s house, she discovered him bleeding in his bedroom, whereupon she alerted emergency services, who pronounced him dead at the scene,” Ledwaba said.

He said the police opened a murder case which led to the suspect’s immediate arrest for murder.
Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe strongly condemned the violent incident and urged couples struggling with domestic problems to seek professional help instead of resorting to violence.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Kgapane Magistrates Court in due course facing a murder charge.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
