Actor and muso, Zulu Boy is fighting tooth and nail to get what rightfully belongs to him after an agreement with Mzansi Magic’s hit telenovela, Umkhokha went awry.
The star, whose real name is Brian Majozi, tells Drum that he inked a three month contract with the production company that produces the show. He was given a role, but however the rug was pulled from under him a month after he was meant to start shooting. This after upending his life and relocating to a different city.
” I signed a three month contract with them and they asked me to move to Durban, which I did. I stayed in a hotel there at my own expense .They brought my scripts, but a month later they hadn’t said anything, so I followed up with them, that’s when they said they had already recast for the same role,” he says.Â
