The heavyweight legend last fought in an exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr in 2020, 15 years after retiring from the sport as a professional.

Paul is confident he can beat TysonCredit: Jake Paul – InstagramIt was announced that he will face YouTube star Paul in a mega-money clash on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The mammoth event will see an age gap between the pair of 30 years, with Tyson set to be 58 years old by the time the fight takes place.

Paul has far less experience in the boxing ring than his rival, but will take encouragement from the fact he is much fresher and Tyson is way out of his prime.

But the heavy-hitting icon suggested in a previous interview that he will be the man with his hand raised, despite being far from his best shape.

“[Jake’s] punches you can see coming a mile away, you can see that coming a mile away. I’m 55, I can see that coming a mile away,” Tyson added.

“I would beat these f***ers [Jake and Logan Paul]. I’d go straight at them, there would be no boxing.

“The only thing I got to do is be in shape. 30 days of boxing training every day and I can fight anyone.

Worrying footage of Mike Tyson using a walking stick reemerges ahead of his fight with Jake Paul fight

Tyson is now significantly older however, and fans will be worried after he was pictured using a walking stick.

Training footage of Tyson has shown he still has his raw power and aggression, but it is unclear exactly how his body will hold up.

Despite claiming he will win the fight at a canter, he has had huge respect for Paul’s boxing career so far.

He even handed the ‘Problem Child’ his second pro bout on the undercard of his clash with Jones Jr.

Paul has since announced intentions to make a pursuit of world title glory, and has beaten journeymen Andre August and Ryan Bourland in routine run-outs.

Tyson has certainly fought at a far superior level, but will be an unknown entity on the night, given he is far from his heyday.
