Sofia Richie Grainge Is Pregnant! Expecting Her Second Child With Elliot Grainge

Congratulations are in order for Sofia Richie Grainge and husband Elliot Grainge, pregnant with their second child.

Richie Grainge revealed her baby bump in an Instagram post yesterday (October 16). “On my way to launch these babies,” she captioned the mirror selfie, referring to her unborn child and her recently revealed clothing brand SRG Atelier. It’s a double drop of projects for the ages; Sofia Richie Grainge, as the poster woman of quiet luxury, taking the moment to be loud and proud. She stayed true to her refined, polished sense of style for the announcement, wearing a chocolate brown polka dot blouse (SRG Atelier, of course) pulled up to reveal her belly, and tailored black pants.

This is Richie Grainge’s second child, already sharing a daughter Eloise with husband and CEO of Atlantic Records Elliott. They welcomed Eloise in May 2024.

The pair wed in the South of France in 2023 in a viral ceremony that propeled an era of understated, ultra luxurious aesthetics, and Richie Grainge herself to even higher influencer-dom.

This announcement is somewhat more laidback than her first, which she revealed on the cover of Vogue in January 2024.

Raising a child has given the 27-year-old model and now fashion mogul a new perspective. “I didn’t realize her first birthday was going to be such a mix of emotion for me,” she captioned her Instagram post for Eloise’s birthday in May. “On one hand, it’s the most amazing beautiful milestone. On the other hand, I look back and realize those tiny little moments are something I’ll never get back. Watching her grow has been a gift.”

While new projects are always exciting, it remains clear that motherhood is a priority for Richie Grainge. “My greatest achievement will ALWAYS be her,” she added. “Elliot and I couldn’t love anything in this life more. I don’t know what I did to deserve my little buggie, but all I know is my heaven is right here on earth with her.”

“I think having a daughter made me realize the importance of feeling confident without makeup,” Richie Grainge said in another adorable mom moment during her Vogue Beauty Secrets back in July. “I talk to her a lot about that. I love how I’m saying I talk to her a lot about that, because she’s one and she barely speaks, but I am convinced that she can understand me. Therefore, we have deep, deep chats about life.”

From just over a year of having Eloise, it’s clear too that Richie Grainge has her daughter following her own formula, often photographing her in muted toned babygros, Dior tees, and satin ballet flats—when her cute, chubby little feet allow.

Will SRG Atelier outfit her two kids in custom looks (baby trenches, mini suits?) or expand into a line of quiet luxury-leaning children’s wear? It remains to be seen. But we can definitely assume maternity wear that delights in sleek neutrals and sculptural lines from Sofia Richie Grainge to come.
