Sources: Cameron Carter-Vickers drawing interest from Turkish Super Lig clubs

Cameron Carter-Vickers has played a key role in Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic closing in on another league title which has led to several Turkish Super Lig clubs becoming interested in his services.

Carter-Vickers is drawing interest out of Turkey, a source close to the player confirmed to SBI. However, Carter-Vickers remains happy with his current role at Celtic, with his contract set to run until May 2029.

The American defender has missed parts of the 2023-24 season due to hamstring and knee issues, but since has returned in fine form. Carter-Vickers has featured in each of the last 10 Premiership matches, helping Brendan Rodgers squad hold a current six-point lead over rivals Rangers.

In total, Carter-Vickers has made 29 combined appearances this season, scoring one goal and adding one assist.

Carter-Vickers originally joined Celtic on loan during the 2021-22 campaign before making his move permanent. He’s won two SPFL titles, two Scottish League Cups and once FA Cup since his move to Glasgow.

His consistent role at club level has helped Carter-Vickers get back into the USMNT picture in recent years, earning a total of 16 caps to date.

Celtic can clinch the SPFL title on Wednesday at Kilmarnock.
