South Carolina vs. Indiana live score, updates, highlights from 2024 NCAA Women’s Sweet 16 game

The NCAA women’s tournament is feeling sweet. Sixteen teams remain, but after tonight, four will go home.

Will that include South Carolina or Indiana?

The No. 1 Gamecocks face a fired-up No. 4 Indiana. The Hoosiers defeated Oklahoma in the second round, but boy was it a show. It took until the final minutes, but Mackenzie Holmes wasn’t finishing her career in Bloomington with a loss. The senior scored 29 points in the 75-68 victory.

Now, just four days later, Indiana will face its toughest opponent yet – undefeated South Carolina. The Gamecocks haven’t even struggled yet in this tournament. They took down North Carolina 88-41, with 51 of those points coming off the bench.

The second Sweet 16 game of the tournament will be a battle of momentum versus consistency.

The Sporting News is tracking South Carolina vs. Indiana in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA women’s tournament, including live updates and highlights from the Albany 1 regional showdown.
