Southampton will meet Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup following a 3-0 win over fellow Championship side Watford.
In-form Saints set up a last 16 clash at Anfield with a clinical second-half display as Sekou Mara scored twice in six minutes to help send Russell Martin’s side on their way.
Mara broke the deadlock seven minutes into the second half with a low first-time shot before doubling his tally with a sublime effort from 20 yards.
Having set up both goals, Che Adams added the gloss on a fine individual performance with Saints’ third, steering home from Joe Rothwell’s free-kick.
Leeds United can look forward to a clash with the winner of Wednesday’s tie between Aston Villa and Chelsea after three goals in extra-time helped them to a 4-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle at Home Park Stadium.
After the first half ended goalless, Wilfried Gnonto gave Daniel Farke’s charges a 66th-minute lead with a powerful effort from the edge of the box.
Plymouth levelled with 12 minutes remaining of normal time when Brendan Galloway bundled over the line after Leeds failed to clear from a free-kick.
Leeds turned on the style in extra-time, as Crysencio Summerville’s curling shot gave them the initiative once more, before substitute Georginio Rutter and Ilia Gruev added further to the scoreline.
Elsewhere, Coventry will play sixth tier Maidstone in the next round after brushing aside Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 in another all-Championship affair.
Kasey Palmer’s low shot into the corner had given Coventry a third-minute opener, but their lead lasted just seven minutes as the visitors equalised through an effort by Bailey Cadamarteri.
Mark Robins’ side took control of the tie with three goals in eight second-half minutes as goalscorer Palmer turned provider five minutes after the restart, laying on an assist for Callum O’Hare.
O’Hare grabbed his second goal of the game and ninth of the season to give Mark Robins’ side breathing space in the tie with a fine strike, before Haji Wright headed home Jay Dasilva’s cross.
