Spotify Daylist is rolling out globally thanks to its popularity in the English-speaking world. Spotify says 70% of Daylist users tune in week after week—making it one of the most popular Spotify features driving discovery.Spotify expanded the Daylist in English into 65 additional markets earlier this year, but today the feature is now available globally to both Free and Premium users. Newly supported languages for the Daylist feature include Arabic, Catalan, French (Canada), French (France), German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), and Turkish.
With this new expansion, Spotify users will now be able to see a unique Daylist with titles in their native languages. Some examples of Daylist titles? “Modern funk afrofuturism Wednesday afternoon” to “Ethiopian jazz instrumental funk Monday morning.” Spotify says its product team worked closely with local music and culture experts to infuse the spirit of Daylist into each language—ensuring the feature resonates with listeners across the globe.
Spotify says aside from its yearly Wrapped round up, Spotify Daylist is its most-shared personalized experience. Because the playlist regularly changes throughout the day, it’s also possible to preserve a specific Daylist as an individual playlist—while also lends to the popularity of this feature.

They’ve also not provided any insight into how much music discovery is going on behind the scenes here—especially since the playlist changes regularly throughout the day.
Daylist was introduced in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland in September 2023. Unfortunately, shortly after launching the feature the engineer responsible for the hyper individualized sound categorization that the playlist uses was laid off.
