St. Vincent, Flea, Beck, and More Join John Mulaney’s ‘Everybody’s in L.A.’ Comedy Special

Expect appearances from Weezer, Bill Hader, Ray J, John Carpenter, Fluffy Iglesias, and many more guests during the comedy special

You know John Mulaney‘s six-part comedy special is gonna be really star-studded when Netflix‘s PR team writes, “There will be more guests as well but we are tired of listing them. We have given you enough information already,” in their pitch email.

On Tuesday, the streaming service announced a new cohort of celebrity guests — including musical ones such as Weezer, Los Lobos, St. Vincent, Flea, and Beck — that will join Mulaney during his Everyody’s in L.A. run of live shows early next month. Also making appearances from the musical world are Ray J, Joyce Manor, Earth Quake, and Warren G.

Mulaney is bringing out a ton of his comedy friends too. Bill Hader, Nate Bargatze, David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Mae Martin, Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, Hannah Gadsby, Stavros Halkias, Luenell, Ronny Chieng, Tom Segura, and Elvira herself, Cassandra Peterson, will be making appearances.

And then there is a more random list of people who will also join Mulaney from the Los Angeles area, such as hypnotherapist Kerry Gaynor, O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, Citizens for L.A. Wildlife Representative Tony Tucci, helicopter journalist Zoey Tur, seismologist Dr Lucy Jones, and Dr. Emily Lindsey of the La Brea Tar Pits. Oh, and legendary filmmaker John Carpenter.

Within the six installments, Mulaney will explore the city with his comedian friends (and all these guests). The special debuts May 3, with additional episodes livestreaming May 6 through May 10. Mulaney is the host, co-showrunner, and executive producer through his Multiple Camera Productions. Ashley Edens serves as co-showrunner and executive producer. Dave Ferguson is the head writer.
