Steve Kerr Responds to Draymond Green’s Criticism on Restricting Jayson Tatum & Tyrese Haliburton’s Minutes in Paris Olympics

Despite moving into the Paris Olympics semis after decimating Brazil in the quarter-finals, Steve Kerr has still got people on his back for his rotation policies. One of the prominent members of that herd was the Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, who called out his own coach for benching Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton publicly. However, it seems like coach Kerr has passed on the baton of explanation for now because the situation is in his favor. Judging the correct time after Team USA’s last victory, Coach Kerr addressed the criticism once and for all.

In an interaction with media vet Rachel Nichols, Kerr got to know about the bold criticism from his player, to which he seemed oblivious as he said, “I haven’t heard from Draymond, so I don’t even know what he said.” It felt like coach Kerr was just playing, though host Rachel made an impression to express Draymond‘s intensity. But Kerr seemed pacified as he finally answered, “It’s okay. Being in this position, you do what you have to do to win.” And Team USA proved it with the clean record on the Olympics matchup chart till now.

Steve Kerr has been hearing the criticism – now even from Draymond Green – but on Open Run, he tells me he feels confident in his choices for Team USA. (He is less confident in my ability to do impressions. 😂) pic.twitter.com/tDRod7nXD5
