The NBA has announced that Phoenix will host the 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend, with the 76th All-Star Game going down on Sunday, Feb. 21.

Shams Charania and Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic reported on Feb. 26 that the NBA was “nearing plans” for Phoenix to be the host.

Now it’s official, and Phoenix will welcome the game’s best talents into town for the fourth time overall and first since 2009.

The 2027 All-Star Weekend’s event format remains the same as usual, with Friday, Feb. 19 featuring the NBA Rising Stars contest.

State Farm All-Star Saturday Night is up next, and it will include the Kia Skills Challenge, the STARRY 3-Point Challenge and the AT&T Slam Dunk contest.

For the third time, Phoenix is also on tap to host this year’s WNBA All-Star Weekend, which will occur from July 18-20.

This year’s NBA All-Star Weekend was held Feb. 16-18 in Indianapolis. San Francisco’s Chase Center, the home of the Golden State Warriors, is up next in 2025.

Then Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, the future home of the Los Angeles Clippers, will host the midseason festivities in 2026.
