Jennifer Lopez Reveals Whether She’d Get Married Again After Ben Affleck Divorce
Donât stop, keep it moving, put your drinks up and raise them to Jennifer Lopez.
The “On the Floor” singer turned 56 July 24 and kicked off the celebrations by dropping her new song “Birthday.”
J.Lo debuted the track on July 21 during a stop in Lucca, Italy, for her summer Up All Night tour.
“It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy,” she told People in May about her tour, appearing to subtly reference her split from Ben Affleck. “Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and Iâm ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time. Thatâs always my goal.”
And the Hustlers star is perfectly happy being single. After a concertgoer held up a sign that said âJ.Lo marry me?â during her stop in Spain, Jenny suggested sheâd already been around that block (with her settling her divorce from Ben earlier this year).
“I think Iâm done with that,” Jennifer, who’s navigated the end of four marriages, replied in a video shared on X July 16. “Yeah, I tried that a few times.”
So, sheâs focusing on what keeps her feelinâ so good. Which in addition to being mom to 17-year-old twins Emme and Max Muñizâwhose father is Jenniferâs ex-husband Marc Anthonyâincludes concentrating on work. The actress has a new rom-com and movie musical coming out and is ending the year with a Las Vegas residency.

“I really enjoyed doing Vegas last time,” Jennifer told E! News in May after hosting the 2025 American Music Awards. “It seems like the right time right now, for whatever reason. It just kind of fell into place that way, and Iâm excited.”
And if youâre excited for Jenniferâs birthday, you donât need to be waiting for tonight to celebrate. Letâs get loud and look back at her photos throughout the years below.
