Talking Point: How Would You Feel If Xbox’s Major Fall Release Is Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6?

Will Indy make it this year? Are you fussed if not?

Avowed has officially been delayed. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle doesn’t have a release date yet. Most of Xbox’s other releases this year are DLC packs, aside from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 of course. So, how would you feel if Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 ends up being the major Xbox game for Fall 2024?

Given the hype behind Black Ops 6 and its long development cycle for a COD title, we’re not too fussed here at the PX offices if this ends up being the case. Of course, we want Indiana Jones to hit this year ā€” and news could well arrive on that front during Gamescom this month ā€” but if it doesn’t, so be it. We’ll have plenty to play either way!

That’s not just on the Xbox first-party front either; there’s still a lot coming this year from third party teams too. We’ve got Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster coming to the platform next month, we’ve got the likes of Stalker 2 for Xbox Game Pass this November after its most recent delay, and lots more besides.

We want to hear from you guys on the matter though, to be honest. We know that COD can be a divisive title, and we know that lots of Xbox fans have been looking forward to a busy end of the year, so – would it bother you if Indiana Jones doesn’t make it and Black Ops 6 ends up being the tentpole title for Xbox this year?

Would you be happy with COD as Xbox’s main game this fall? Comment down below and tell us what you think about the lineup.
