Getting into the Olympic spirit?

Welcome to the weekend! If you’re looking for things to play over the next couple of days, we’ve got the obvious addition of Call of Duty: MW3 to Xbox Game Pass, various Free Play Days titles, a handful of betas that are currently running on the platform, and hundreds of fantastic deals that remain available in the Xbox Summer Sale.

Here’s what we’re playing this weekend:

This weekend marks the proper start of the Olympics, so I’m very much in the mood to play some Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 as well as London 2012: The Official Game! If you haven’t tried either of these, both are fun for different reasons – the former is very arcadey whereas the latter is more simulation-like.

It’s a real shame that we don’t have an official Xbox game for Paris 2024, but I’m assuming the sales of the last one weren’t that great. Anyway, these games have so much longevity – you can keep enjoying them for years and years!
