talkSPORT betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice for Saturday 13 July

While the weekend will be dominated by build-up to the Euro 2024 final, Saturday still features action from across Europe and beyond.

We are less than a month away from the domestic campaign starting in the UK, but there is still good value to be found this weekend.

Below are three standout bets from Saturday’s action, which spans three continents.

Bet of the DayCruzeiro to beat Bragantino @ 9/10

Two top-half sides in Brazil’s Serie A meet on Saturday evening, with Cruzeiro taking on Red Bull Bragantino in a UK-friendly 8pm start. Cruzeiro head into the clash as worthy favourites, having put together a stellar run on home soil.

Cruzeiro have not lost at the Estadio Governador Magalhaes Pinto in the league since November, while they have put together a six-game winning streak at their own ground in the league. In all competitions they have won eight consecutive home matches, and now they take on a Bragantino side who don’t travel well.

The visitors have lost three of their last four away games and are three places below Cruzeiro in the table. With the hosts a shade under evens for the win, back their home form to survive this clash.

Special of the dayFC Tokyo to win and both teams to score vs Albirex Niigata @ 15/4

FC Tokyo need to bounce back after consecutive J League defeats, and they have the perfect chance to do so against a struggling Albirex Niigata outfit. The visitors have lost 4-3 and 6-1 in their last two games and after those convincing defeats, another loss looks to be on the cards.

Albirex Niigata lost 3-1 at home to FC Tokyo earlier this season and the hosts are unbeaten in meetings with bottom-half teams at their own ground. Tokyo can add to their four home victories this weekend, but they host a side that have scored in 82% of their away trips.

The hosts have managed just two home clean sheets all season, so take them to win and concede at the boosted price of 15/4.

Longshot of the dayGAIS to win 2-0 at Sirius @ 16/1

Sirius have lost all seven encounters with top-seven sides in the Allsvenskan this term and another loss could be on the way this weekend. They play a GAIS side who have endured a mixed return on their travels, although  the visitors have won two of their three visits to sides in the bottom half.

Sirius have lost either 2-0 or 3-0 in four of their five losses to the league’s top sides, while they have suffered two defeats to nil at home this term.

On the other hand, GAIS have scored at least twice in each of their seven league wins. A comprehensive win for the visitors appeals, with a 2-0 away win standing out at a massive 16/1.
