Bet of the dayHibs to beat Kilmarnock @ 11/8
Kilmarnock suffered European heartache on Thursday night and they may struggle to recover on the quick turnaround against Hibs.
Derek McInnes’ men battled to a 1-1 draw with Copenhagen at Rugby Park, but it was a grueling contest and Kilmarnock managed only 31% possession.
Killie are yet to win a domestic game this season, they are sat at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table and McInnes’ side look to be running into an improving Hibs outfit.
David Gray’s men picked up a point in a 2-2 draw with Dundee last time out and the level of performance progressed from the early part of the campaign.
Summer additions Kieron Bowie and Mykola Kukharevych have made a positive impact to the Leith side’s attack and Martin Boyle remains a good performer.
The timing looks right for Hibs to win at Rugby Park.
Special of the dayMohamed Salah to score two or more goals @ 4/1
Man Utd conceded 14 shots on goal in a 2-1 defeat at Brighton last weekend. The Red Devils had allowed Fulham ten shots at Old Trafford in their opening Premier League encounter and the defence and midfield balance doesn’t look good for Erik ten Hag’s side.
Liverpool are experts at overwhelming flimsy rearguards and that’s exactly what the Reds will be facing on Sunday.
Mohamed Salah remains Liverpool’s leading light and the Egyptian has a phenomenal goalscoring record when taking on United.
Salah has hit 13 goals in his last ten games against the Red Devils and the Liverpool man looks a cracking bet to score two or more at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Long shot of the dayDundee Utd to beat Hearts @ 27/10
Hearts were another Scottish side downed in Europe on Thursday night and the poor start to the campaign has to be a major concern for manager Steven Naismith.
The Jambos have lost five of their opening six matches and that includes a loss to Championship side Falkirk in the Scottish League Cup.
Key forward Lawrence Shankland missed out through injury on Thursday night and the Scotland international is yet to find the net for Hearts this season.
Dundee Utd are unbeaten in the Scottish top-flight this term and got the better of St Mirren in the League Cup so Jim Goodwin’s men look excellent value to down Hibs at Tynecastle on Sunday.
