Taylor Swift: Which Kansas City Chiefs Playoff Games Will the Pop Star Attend in 2025?
Taylor Swift has at least one more chance to cheer on Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs fight for a Super Bowl three-peat.
After taking a bye weekâa perk of earning the number one seed in the AFC (American Football Conference)âthe Kansas City Chiefs will head back to their home stadium, Arrowhead, on January 18. So far this season, Swift has attended all but one home game, which she only missed to perform her final Eras Tour concert on December 8. On the flip side, sheâs skipped every single away game this season, reportedly due to scheduling conflicts and alleged security concerns.
âShe has worked with Arrowhead so many times; they are at ease and comfortable,â a source told Page Six back in September. âGoing to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.â
Luckily for Swifties, another advantage that comes with securing the top seed in the AFC is hosting every playoff game the Kansas City Chiefs participate in, whether thatâs just one more game or they make it to the AFC Championships on January 26. The Super Bowl, of course, is a whole different story, as the AFC champions will take on the NFC (National Football Conference) champions in New Orleans on February 9.
So which of these games could Taylor Swift attend? Hereâs what we know.
The Division Round (January 18)As the number one seed in the AFC, the Chiefs will have home-field advantage against the conferenceâs lowest-ranked team in the playoffs, the Houston Texans. Given Swiftâs open schedule postâEras Tour, her attendance is expected, if not guaranteed.
Just before the end of her tour, a source told Us Weekly that Swift âplans to stay in and hibernateâ with Kelce while she figures out her next move. Another source added, âThey want to do ânormal thingsâ as a couple. Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [thatâs when] the little nuances about someoneâs personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.â
The Chiefsâ division-round game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET. You can watch on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN+.
Conference Championships (January 26)If the Kansas City Chiefs win their game against the Houston Texans, they will be facing one more AFC team for a spot in the Super Bowl. Once again, the Chiefs would get to host this game at Arrowhead Stadium, which bodes well for football fans hoping to spot Taylor Swift in Kelceâs VIP suite.
The AFC conference will air on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Super Bowl (February 9)This yearâs Super Bowl will take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. Though thatâs obviously not Arrowhead, it seems unlikely Swift would miss the game that could grant Kelce his third Super Bowl ring in a row (and fourth total).
But thatâs not the only question surrounding the Super Bowl. With Kendrick Lamar headlining the halftime show, some fans wonder if Swift might join him onstage for a âBad Bloodâ reunionâand maybe even a Reputation (Taylorâs Version) announcement.⊠Okay, maybe that last partâs just wishful thinking.
