‘Tennis Beast’ Novak Djokovic Eulogized Over Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for This Invincible Skill

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic are not just players. They are titans who forged an era with their grandeur and ruled it for years. These three legends have not only amassed countless titles but also captivated millions with their breathtaking rivalries and unparalleled skills. Their battles on the court are the stuff of legend, fueling an endless debate among fans and pundits alike: who truly stands atop the pinnacle of the “Big Three”? While the discussion continues, another former player, Garbiñe Muguruza, has entered the fray to give her judgment.

Two months after quitting tennis, the Spanish-Venezuelan player, engaged in an interview with Punto De Break to discuss a wide range of factors including her life, the rivalries in the sport, and the ‘Big 3.’ While she did not fail to express her high-regards for Swiss Maestro Roger Federer, and Compatriot Rafael Nadal, Murguza regarded Noval Djokovic as the best in the business.

Speaking about the rivalry, she highlighted the number of Grand Slams that the trio has amassed. “The number of Grand Slams that would have been shared… That generation is very tough, it was always the three of them.” The trio has won 66 of the 84 grand slam singles titles during the two decades between 2003 and 2023. Continuing further, Murguza praised Roger and Rafa but expressed his complete support for Djokovic. “I am from Roger, I am pro-Rafa to death. I think Djokovic is a tennis beast.” The former World No.1 continued to laud Nole’s skills and behavior.

She further went on to differentiate Djoker for his invincible skill quality. “In terms of quality in tennis, the best is Novak, I think he is very funny off the court and he is super nice, I have. He had a very good time. On the track it is true that he has that Serbian, eastern personality.” Meanwhile, this statement is contrary to what Roger Federer used to believe about his fierce rival.

The initial bonds that Nole and Federer had were not straightforward enough. Speaking ahead of the release of his film, Federer had revealed his dislike for Djokovic in their early days. “I think I didn’t give Novak the respect he deserved because of his technical flaws. I felt like Novak had a very extreme forehand grip and his backhand for me wasn’t as fluid as it is nowadays.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Big Three’ of tennis have consistently shown mutual respect, often acknowledging each other as the GOAT. In a recent discussion with Louis Vuitton, Nadal and Federer appeared to be passing on the World Number 1 baton to Djokovic. Talking on court, Nole’s Wimbledon participation has continued to remain uncertain.

Novak Djokovic to travel for Wimbledon despite participation uncertainty Novak Djokovic has been out of the tennis courts ever since June 5, when he had surgery on his right knee. The Serbian had torn the medial meniscus during the fourth-round clash against Francis Cerundolo at Roland Garros. However, he is getting better sooner than anticipated.

In a recent video that Nole shared on his Instagram, he can be seen hitting some balls and gearing up for the grass-court Grand Slam. This was not just surprising for his fans but the doctors as well who predicted that it would take longer for him to return to the court again. Now, the tennis legend has given yet another surprise to his fans by announcing his Wimbledon campaign.

The former World No. 1 will be reportedly traveling to London on Monday to participate in Wimbledon. However, his confirmed participation still remains uncertain and will depend on his fitness ahead of the tournament. Will Djokovic play Wimbledon? Only time will tell. But if he chooses to do so, it will be an intense showdown to watch.
