Teresa Giudice reveals she is dissolving her lip filler after backlash over her appearance
Teresa Giudice revealed on TikTok Friday that sheâs temporarily dissolving her lip fillers to attain a more natural look.
âI know a lot of you make comments about my lips,â the âReal Housewives of New Jerseyâ star, 52, said in her video as she took fans along for the process.
âI like my lips but Iâm gonna try a different way.â

She said she noticed some filler migration in her upper lip, which inspired her to chat with Chanel from BeYouth Medspa in Caldwell, NJ, about her options. She said Chanel has done Botox for her before.
âInstead of a wider look, weâre gonna go for more height, a crispier vermilion border,â Chanel explained. âA more natural look.â
The vermilion border, according to Hayes Valley Medical Esthetics, is âthe line of demarcation between your lips and the surrounding skin.â

The âTurning the Tablesâ host admitted she was âa little nervous, but excitedâ and ready to âstart fresh.â
She showed her fans the process of getting her fillers dissolved, which included having a numbing cream applied to her lips and receiving injections of an enzyme that attacks hyaluronic acid.
After the injections were done, Chanel applied some bruising cream to the reality star and sent her on her way.
Before Giudice left, she said she was in no pain and felt no burning because her lips were completely numb.

Giudice updated fans about eight and a half hours after her appointment and showed that she had some minimal bruising on her bottom lip, which was expected.
She confirmed that she will return to the med spa in about two weeks to get some filler injections â though fans encouraged her not to.

âLeave them you look so pretty!!!â another thrilled fan wrote. âI like your lips a lot better now with out [sic] the filler!â
A fourth commented, âYou donât need filler!đ„°.â
Giudice has been open about the work sheâs gotten done over the years.

She originally admitted to getting her lips done during âThe Real Housewives of New Jerseyâ Season 11 reunion in 2021, per Bravo.
In November 2021, she said she had âthe tip ofâ her nose done earlier that year.
The year prior, she revealed she had her breasts redone a decade after originally getting an augmentation.
Giudiceâs estranged sister-in-law Melissa Gorga claimed in 2023 that Giudice also had her forehead lengthened, though she never confirmed that herself.
