How Is KC Concepcion Building His NIL Empire at Texas A&M?
Transfer Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion has added another major endorsement to his growing NIL portfolio, finalizing a deal with Sage Trading Cards. The agreement, first reported by Jaxson Callaway of Aggies Today, marks the wide receiver’s second trading card partnership this offseason.

The former NC State standout brings serious production numbers to Texas A&M. Concepcion recorded 1,299 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns across two seasons with the Wolfpack, along with 356 rushing yards and two additional scores.

His breakout freshman campaign in 2023 earned him ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

Concepcion was also named a freshman All-American by the Football Writers Association of America, The Athletic, PFF, 247Sports, and On3. Though his 2024 campaign was quieter statistically, his market value stayed strong throughout the season.

What Makes Concepcion Worth $2.5 Million in NIL Deals?
On June 10, On3 NIL listed his offseason earnings at $2.5 million, combining collective agreements with Texas A&M and individual brand deals. The Sage partnership follows his earlier deal with ONIT Athlete Trading Cards, showing how brands view his marketability.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has been impressed with what he’s seen from Concepcion since his arrival. Elko stated during a June 17 event at the Fort Worth A&M Club.

“(Concepcion) has been exceptional. He could be a captain. He has been unbelievable with his work ethic and his commitment to doing things the way we want to do them. He has been a role model for our younger guys.”

The numbers back up the hype. Concepcion’s 792 yards after the catch since 2023 rank second among all returning Power Four receivers. That explosiveness and reliability make him a natural fit as the Aggies’ WR1 heading into the 2025 season.

Concepcion’s NIL success reflects the broader growth in sports collectibles. According to Zion Market Research, the sports trading card market is projected to grow from $11.52 billion in 2024 to $23.64 billion by 2034, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.45%.

The recent House v. NCAA settlement has also changed the economics of college athletics. Each Power Four program can now distribute approximately $20.5 million in revenue directly to athletes, creating new opportunities for players like Concepcion to maximize their earning potential.

For Texas A&M, landing a proven performer with established NIL value gives them both on-field production and off-field marketing appeal. Concepcion enters 2025 as one of the most recognizable faces in college football, with the stats and endorsement deals to match.
