The Audiobook of Lisa Marie Presley’s Memoir, Narrated by Julia Roberts, Is Now the Bestseller on Audible
Lisa Marie’s posthumous memoir ‘From Here to the Great Unkown’ was finished by her daughter Riley Keough
The life of Elvis Presley has been immortalized in film multiple times in recent years, including in Elvis (2022) and Priscilla (2023). Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie, was mostly absent from the narrative, given that she was still a child when Elvis died.
She finally told her story in her memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, which was published on Oct. 8. Lisa Marie died in Jan. 2023, and her daughter, Riley Keough, helped finish the memoir using tapes Lisa Marie had recorded. The book became a bestseller before its release, and now the audiobook, released the same day, is the bestseller on Amazon’s Audible Books & Originals charts.
Keough got some help bringing her mother’s words to life from Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts. Keough narrates portions of the book, while Julia Roberts lends her voice to the late Lisa Marie.

In a statement, Julia Roberts said, “I was so moved by Lisa Marie’s incredible memoir. It was a real privilege to give voice to her wild and beautiful life and I deeply appreciate Riley entrusting me with her mother’s story.”
Riley Keough has been on a media tour to promote From Here to the Great Unkown, including a lengthy sit-down with Oprah Winfrey at Graceland, which aired on CBS and is available to stream on Paramount+. Keough has also been on a brief book tour and the final event of the tour is slated for Nov 18 in Santa Monica, California, with tickets available on Eventbrite.
