The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Reinvented Classic Designs

This past week, Hollywood A-listers touched down in Paris to take in the spring 2024 couture shows—and they certainly came dressed to impress. The runway collections were attended by stars including Zendaya, Kylie Jenner, and Jennifer Lopez—each of them choosing to deliver bold fashion fantasies. At John Galliano’s artful Margiela presentation, Jenner slipped into the label’s silver sequin gown. “Margiela mermaid,” she captioned the outfit on Instagram. At Elie Saab, Jennifer Lopez—who delivered many winning moments during couture week—covered herself in a dramatic floral cape. Zendaya, meanwhile, went avant-garde at the Fendi couture show: The Dune star wore an off-the-shoulder gown punctuated with a sharp new blunt-bang hairstyle.

Elsewhere around the globe, various movie premieres saw celebrities stepping out in double take-worthy ensembles. Dua Lipa wore custom sequined Gucci to fete Argylle in London, while Meghan Markle donned a sleek Carolina Herrera top and ballgown skirt for a Jamaica screening of Bob Marley: One Love.

Other highlights of the week? Chloe Sevigny at the Swans premiere, where the star wore a white Christopher John Rogers dress with an oversized bow detail. Her series co-star Naomi Watts also embraced head-to-toe cream, but in a slightly more casual Bottega Veneta top and skirt. Really, the whole Swans cast has been engaging in a mother-off.
