Juara Candlenut Body Creme

A series of snowstorms and frigid temperatures have left my skin dry and cracked. I’ve been looking for a body cream to keep me hydrated throughout the day, and Juara’s fits the bill. Using a trio of nourishing oils like candlenut, avocado, and rice bran, it feels buttery smooth upon application and absorbs like a dream. My skin feels so soft and touchable—even hours later—and the subtle clean smell is addictive. —Ariana Yaptangco, senior beauty editor

Versed Shade Swipe Blush Stick

I’m already a huge fan of Versed’s affordable, high-quality skin care line, so I was stoked to find out that the brand just launched a makeup collection, including this very rosy blush stick. It melts into the skin like butter and can be easily applied and tapped in with your fingers, no brush required. But that’s not even the best part: This stuff is pigmented, and the soft matte consistency can rival some of the higher-end blushes in my collection. It also lasts all day. At a $15 price point, this is one not to miss out on. —Alanna Martine Kilkeary, commerce writer

Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Day and Night Patches

In my book, Hero Cosmetics makes the best pimple patches of all time. They stay on through anything (showers, workouts, a full day of work) and virtually disappear when applied, especially the Invisible+ Patch. This day-to-night duo pack gives you the best of both worlds, featuring both the Invisible+ and the original formula. No matter where or when, you can rely on the brand’s hydrocolloid to suck out gunk and help your pimples heal. —A.Y.

Murad Superactive Moisturizer SPF 50

Murad just launched four 3-in-1 Superactive SPF 50 moisturizers, but the hydrating formula is by far my favorite. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, it feels just as weightless and hydrating on the skin as some of my other favorite K-beauty formulas. While I’m usually hesitant to wear such a lightweight product when soaking up direct sunlight (if there’s no thick white cast, how can I tell it’s really protecting me?!), I put it to the test on the beaches of St. Lucia and it kept my skin burn-free. —Emily Tannenbaum, contributing editor

Keys Soulcare Sacred Body Lotion

Scent is so personal—just changing your body lotion can feel like a total reinvention. The first time I put on the new Keys Soulcare Sacred Body Lotion, I actually felt my shoulders relax as I got a whiff of the signature sage and oat milk fragrance. It’s extremely subtle, which is what you want in an all-day moisturizer, but so soothing that it felt like a day at the spa. I’ll be keeping it in my routine anytime I need a quick way to combat stress. —Anna Moeslein, deputy editor

Drunk Elephant Mello Marula Cream Cleanser with 1.0% Colloidal Oatmeal

I’ve started using this cleanser in the shower and have been impressed by its gentle cleansing power, subtle scent, and creamy lather. My skin never feels tight or dry afterwards—instead, the formula has a nice calming effect thanks to ingredients like colloidal oatmeal and marula seed oil. I’ve used it to take off foundation, eye shadow, waterproof mascara—it gets the job done. —A.Y.

Huda Beauty Blush Filter Soft Glow Liquid Blush Bubblegum

Huda Beauty makes one of the most flattering, blendable liquid blush formulas I’ve ever tried. After close inspection, I’ve realized that’s because the formula is filled with tiny micropearls that give each shade an extra-radiant boost. It’s so easy to work with; I don’t even pull out my blending brush when I use these. I just dot them on and dab with my fingers until I’m left with a perfectly blended flush. The brand just dropped a few new shades, which I’ve immediately dropped in my makeup bag to take with me at all times. Of the three, Bubblegum is my favorite this month, a bright Barbie pink that makes every makeup look feel a little more fun. —Sarah Y. Wu, contributor

Fwee Glowy Jelly Pot + Keychain Set

I’m convinced that this is the cutest jelly blush and lip gloss to ever exist. It’s made by Fwee, the K-beauty brand behind last summer’s viral Pudding Pots. But while those were matte and velvety, these leave the glassiest, juiciest finish. Since I’m a forever fan of dewy makeup looks, these are personally much more my speed. I love the shade Compote, a cool-toned pink that leaves a glowy flush on cheeks and lips. But there are plenty of shades to explore, and did I mention that each one comes with a tiny keychain you can scoop your Jelly Pot into and take on the go? Truly, they’ve thought of everything. —S.Y.W.

NERRA The Dry Body Oil Jasmine Wood

I love a luxurious shower routine at the end of the day, and Nerrā, a brand inspired by the hammam bathhouse experience, is pretty much the ultimate. I’ve been slathering myself in this body oil all month, which leaves my skin smooth and gleaming all over. It sprays out in a fine, even mist that sinks in immediately (no greasy residue here). The blend of eight botanical oils includes argan, hibiscus seed, and macadamia seed oils and pretty much makes dry patches a thing of winter past. I also love this Jasmine Woods scent so much, I wish they made it as a perfume. It’s a warm, floral hug that ends even the most stressful days on a relaxing note. —S.Y.W.

Saltair Salt Water Vanilla Nourishing Body Oil

In the colder months I much prefer using a body oil after showering instead of a lotion or body butter. And now one of my favorite brands, Saltair, has introduced a new scent for its latest launch, Salt Water Vanilla. It’s absolutely delicious without being overpowering (or making me smell like an ice cream cone). The body oil is formulated with fermented saururus, kukui, cacay, and squalane along with a blend of plant actives and sea buckthorn oil. I warm it up in my hands, and then apply it all over my body, leaving my skin soft and glowing. —Jessica Radloff, senior West Coast editor

ILIA Barrier Build Skin Protectant Cream at Nordstrom

While the weather is still unpredictable, Ilia’s new barrier cream is the most dependable part of my skin care regimen. It’s cushiony and soothing, and keeps my skin hydrated whether I’m on a plane or out in the cold. Most barrier creams tend to disappear into my skin and actually dry it out, but this one is so hydrating, I never feel the need to supplement it with another moisturizer. —J.R.

LAWLESS Forget The Filler Skin-Plumping Line-Smoothing Foundation

This might just be the best foundation I’ve ever used, and given how many foundations I’ve tried, that’s saying something. Lawless’s newest innovation markets itself as a full-coverage foundation that blurs and smooths for a second-skin finish, and I can attest it does all that and more. It looks so natural and doesn’t fade after hours on a red carpet or in the heat. In fact, I never had to reapply any of my makeup throughout the day, which rarely ever happens. The foundation also claims to smooth the look of fine lines and improve skin elasticity over time thanks to its Maxi-Youth technology. Normally I’d be skeptical, but not here. This foundation is like a filter in a bottle. —J.R.

Salt & Stone Body Mist Saffron & Cedar Scent

I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with a fragrance this fast. Salt & Stone’s latest Saffron & Cedar scent is addictive. It’s a perfect mix of alluring and grounded, with notes of neroli, jasmine, saffron, cedarwood, and surf wax (yes, you read that correctly). It’s giving “beautiful breezy day in Big Sur.” —Alexandra Folino, art director

14/14

Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows Hair and Body Fragrance Mist

This sweet-smelling body mist is both nostalgic and luxurious. It makes me feel like a grown-up but has the warm vanilla sugar notes I loved so dearly in my teenage past. While it’s super gourmet, it also has milky notes of musk and amber woods that do a great job at grounding the scent a bit, and this makes it feel more mature than the sugary body mists of the early aughts. My favorite way to wear this spray is by layering it with other vanilla perfumes in my collection if I want a little more sweetness and depth. —A.M.K.
