The Cowboys could fall even further in the draft order on Thursday
Half of the NFC East is a complete dumpster fire and those two teams, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, will face off in Week 13 in a late-afternoon Thanksgiving game on Thursday.
It appeared as though the two-win Giants jumped right into tanking mode, while the Cowboys canāt help themselves from making things even worse than tanking. The Cowboys pulled off a come-from-behind win last week against the Commanders, a victory that ended up costing them a Top 10 draft pick next spring.
If Dallas was hoping to try and get back into a top pick in the first round, theyāll have a challenge on Thursday against the Giants. New Yorkās incompetence seems to have reached a fever pitch this season ā from letting Saquon Barkley go, to benching, and eventually releasing, Daniel Jones. When Jones was benched it was a surprise that the team named Tommy DeVito the starter over Drew Lock, but they did, and now a week later, DeVito is hurt.
Giants QB Tommy DeVito is dealing with a forearm injury and is, in the words of head coach Brian Daboll, ānot 100 percent” to play Thursday vs. the Cowboys.

So now, the Cowboys will face a Giants team that is imploding, which is not good news if Dallas was hoping to find a silver lining to their 4-7, third place in the division, season.
