Sean O’Malley is one of the best fighters in the bantamweight division. Not only does he have good striking ability, but also has a good understanding of his opponents. His performance at UFC 299 gave the fans a glimpse of his versatility as he defended his title for the first time. However, his opponent tried to take away the credit with his recent X(formerly Twitter) post. ‘Suga’, while speaking to Bisping, mocked the claims with his answers.
Bisping asked the former champion about his performance, to which he replied, “Yeah, the greasy hair really helped me just stay balanced and really helped me pinpoint my shot.” He further added, “Just in case you never know, man. Yeah, that was a weird one. I feel like I mean even in the pictures or the video you watch, I feel like you can see if someone’s hair is greasy. It’s pretty visual . You know, my hair was as beautiful as ever and I thought that was a weird one. I feel bad for the guy. I’m like just say I got my a.. kicked. You get more fans. He’s losing fans per minute.”

However, now the scores are finally settled after the 29-year-old won the battle despite his opponent’s claims. O’Malley’s coach also seemed quite confused with the claims and shared his opinion on the whole situation.

Welsh took the opportunity to clear the confusion regarding the claims. Welsh made it clear that O’Malley wanted his signature braids to be done on the day of the fight. However, he also cleared that his hair stylist applied normal gel rather than anything different.
He said, “We were gonna get the braid done on the day before on weigh-ins but he’s like ‘Saturday’s gonna be such a long day because we’re fighting so late so might as well get the braid done fight day and then watch some fights.
