The Target Early Black Friday Sale Has Some Excellent Deals on LEGO Sets

LEGOs are a hot commodity during the holiday season. Not only are they a great gift idea for people of all ages, but they’re also frequently on sale during November, especially during the days leading up to Black Friday. Target is discount several LEGO sets by as much as 40% off right now as part of its Early Black Friday Sale. This is a great opportunity to get ahead of the Black Friday rush and pick up some heavily discounted sets before they have a chance of going out of stock. Several of these deals will expire on Friday November 8 and the rest will expire on Saturday November 9. If you miss out, don’t fret. It’s very likely that most of these prices will return on Black Friday.

What is the best LEGO deal here?LEGO has been making some excellent sets for gamers lately, and one of the coolest is the LEGO Icons Atari 2600 Video Game Console 10306. It normally retails for $239.99, but Target just cut 45% off the price as part of its Early Black Friday Sale. Right now, it sits at $134.39 with free shipping. This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen, with the previous lowest price being $160 back in September. You’re only paying about 5 cents per brick, which is an absolutely fantastic deal, but I doubt this item will stay in stock for much longer.

This set would look pretty amazing next to the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System 71374, another set featuring a classic video game console from a bygone era. If you’re looking for more really cool video game-themed builds, the LEGO Mario & Yoshi 71438 pays homage to the classic side-scrolling Mario platformers, and the LEGO Piranha Plant 71426 doubles up as a hidden piggy bank for your coins.

On a related note, check out the new LEGO Marvel X-Men: The X-Men Mansion that was just released. This is the third building-type set in the LEGO Marvel collection with a total of 3,093 pieces. Our recently released marquee sets that we’ve built ourselves include the LEGO Great Deku Tree and the LEGO Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge.

For more upcoming LEGO sets, check out the newest LEGO releases. If you’re a fan of the LEGO video games, the hotly anticipated LEGO Horizon Adventures game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC is out on November 14.

Should you wait until Black Friday? At this point, we’re only a few weeks away from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s true that many of these deals will expire on Friday or Saturday, however chances are good that they will resurface again closer to November 29. If you want to wait a bit longer to see if better deals will pop up, I think that is a perfectly reasonable decision. These deals are quite good and most of the prices will likely stay the same (and a few might even go up), however there will probably be specific sets that will be discounted even further. The Target Black Friday circular has not yet been released. Once that is available to the public, we’ll have a better idea of which sets are likely to get another price drop.
