Negotiations on the deal were reportedly finalized around WrestleMania season, which officially ended on the second night of the event (April 7).
The Undertaker wrestled in WWE for three decades. He was a four-time WWF/WWE champion, three-time World Heavyweight champion and six-time tag team champion. ‘Taker also won his first 21 WrestleMania matches before the streak ended at WrestleMania XXX against Brock Lesnar.
He’ll go down as one of wrestling’s all-time legends and was rightfully inducted into the WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2022. Now he’ll be connected with the promotion via the legends contract for the foreseeable future.
