These $7 Liquid Blushes Are About to Be Your New Go-To
Over the years, blush has gone from a product I barely knew how to work with to a non-negotiable in my routine. I shudder to think of all the times I dared leave the house with an overly drawn-on contour, sculpted brows, a bright lip, and no color on my cheeks. Truthfully, there weren’t many blush options for deeper skin tones in the drugstore when I first started getting into makeup. Had there been, I have a feeling my path of discovery into the category would have gone a lot differently.
Today, the drugstore has more blush options than ever before, and E.l.f. Cosmetics is the latest brand to throw its hat into the ring with the launch of its Camo Liquid Blush ($7). Coming in nine shades, there’s a color for everyone in this line, and as a self-proclaimed blush connoisseur, I had to personally put this new formula to the test. Read ahead to see my full review of the blushes.
About the E.l.f. Cosmetics Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush
The E.l.f. Cosmetics Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush comes in nine shades.
The formula imparts a dewy finish to the skin.
The ingredient list contains hyaluronic acid, rose flower water, and hibiscus flower extract, which provide hydration and antioxidant properties to the skin.
What I Like About the E.l.f. Cosmetics Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush
Immediately, what I noticed about this product is the wide range of shades it comes in. Often, trying to find one blush color for deeper skin in the drugstore can be a struggle, but this line has six that show up on my complexion with no problem (and they aren’t all basic berry shades). My personal favorite is Bronze Bombshell.
Additionally, I love the packaging of these products. It’s no secret that liquid blushes are having a moment right now, and I love that this product offers a way in on that hype for less than $10.
How to Use the E.l.f. Cosmetics Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush
Like the other liquid blush formulas on the market, this one is fairly straightforward to use. I use the doe-foot applicator to add a few dots of color to my cheeks and blend it out using one of my favorite brushes: the Westman Atelier Liquid Blender Brush ($125) or the E.l.f. Domed Stipple Brush ($7).
What to Know About the E.l.f. Cosmetics Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush
One thing to note about this product is how sheer it is. While the colors are pretty and do show up, I find that I still have to layer on the pigment to get my desired look. Otherwise, with just one coat, by the time I blend it out to look natural on the cheek, it’s barely visible. It’s not something that would put me off from using it, but it’s worth mentioning just the same.
Where Are the E.l.f. Cosmetics Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blushes Available?
