‘This ain’t safe’ … Conor McGregor shook as wild storm derails latest Bare Knuckle FC show

Conor McGregor just experienced ‘the maddest thing ever’ in Budva, Montenegro.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debuts in the country of Montenegro this Saturday with an 11-fight card that part-owner and UFC superstar Conor McGregor is in attendance for.

BKFC Fight Night: Budva was initially scheduled to air at 2 pm EST, but due to the rainy weather, the outdoor event will now stream at 7 pm EST via tape delay.

While the rest of the world waits on the results, McGregor was front and center for the bareknuckle action in Budva and the storm that followed.

Watching the fights from ringside, McGregor recalls the exact moment rain started to pour on the outdoor event.

“Budva brought the thunder, baby,” McGregor said in an Instagram video.

“That was the maddest thing ever. Oh my God. I’m sitting there, the thing [venue] starts rumbling and shaking and I wasn’t waiting…

“I know this ain’t safe,” McGregor added.

“I am in this ring, Montenegro local, big KO finish. We’re in the ring about to celebrate and the storm just erupted out of nowhere. Mother nature…

“I got out of there, the heavens were roaring,” said McGregor.

BKFC boss said Conor McGregor is currently training for his bare knuckle boxing debut Last week, BKFC president David Feldman made headlines when he revealed his business partner McGregor was planning on making his BKFC debut soon.

Feldman said McGregor had apparently told him he is preparing to fight the winner of the BKFC 82 main event between former UFC fighters Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens.

Stephens and Perry are both undefeated under the BKFC banner and fight for the King of Violence title on Oct. 4 in Newark, New Jersey.

Of course, the only issue with Feldman’s comments is that McGregor is still signed to the UFC and therefore cannot compete for any other combat sports promotions.

McGregor has two fights left on his current UFC contract.
