Thursday’s Saints vs. Patriots injury report
The New Orleans Saints made four changes to Thursday’s injury report. Right guard Cesar Ruiz, who suffered a high-ankle sprain just 10 days ago, is already being upgraded to a full participant in practice. Left guard Trevor Penning was also upgraded to full, as he also deals with an ankle injury. Safety Justin Reid remains in concussion protocol, but was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
The New England Patriots made four changes to their injury report on Thursday, downgrading three players and upgrading one. Cornerback Christian Gonzalez was added to the injury report as he deals with a hamstring injury. Linebackers Marte Mapu and Anfernee Jennings were also both downgraded, with Mapu being limited and Jennings not participating. Defensive tackle Christian Barmore returned to being a full participant after being limited on Wednesday for reasons other than an injury.
