TikTok’s Campbell ‘Pookie’ Puckett Is Recovering After ‘Scary’ Surgery to Remove Pre-Cancer

TikTok stars Campbell “Pookie” Puckett and Jett Puckett are speaking out following her recent health scare.

“Hey guys, I got a bit of a different update today,” Jett, 34, said in an Instagram video uploaded on Wednesday, January 8. “Pookie had to have surgery to remove some pre-cancer. We found out about this a while back.”

Jett noted that the ordeal has been “very scary” for them both.

“I am so madly in love with Campbell that the thought of anything at all being wrong with her is, frankly, more than I can bear,” he continued. “Campbell, on the other hand, has been incredibly strong [and] incredibly brave about this.”

He praised his wife’s “tremendously strong faith” and “strength leading up to the surgery” before revealing the outcome of the procedure.

“Surgery went well. Doctor is cautiously optimistic that we’ll be good to go now,” he said. “I’m at Chick-fil-A getting her some of her favorite things. I got her an amazing bouquet of flowers as well.”

The video’s thumbnail image showed Campbell, 32, sitting in a bed and holding the flower bouquet.

Jett was also recording as he walked into their home and delivered all the gifts to Campbell.

“Babe, these are the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” she said, holding back tears.

Campbell shared her own update via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, sharing a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown and yellow grippy socks.

“I had surgery today to remove some pre-cancer. I’m OK and resting at home,” she wrote. “Jett is taking great care of me. I value good health more than ever and I’m so greatful the doctors caught this early.”

Nearly two months before Campbell’s surgery, she and Jett welcomed their first baby, daughter Paloma.

“Bringing our daughter into the world was the purest joy we have ever felt,” Campbell captioned an Instagram post in November 2024. “Her name Paloma is Spanish and Italian and means ‘dove.’ Our little angel was conceived in Italy. Across cultures, the dove symbolizes love, peace, purity, and faith. Her middle name, Campbell, is my mother’s maiden name and of course where I got my name.”

Campbell added, “The past few days have been the greatest days of my life. Jett is already the most incredible dad, I can’t stop crying seeing them together.”
