Tim Tebow and Wife Demi-Leigh Reveal the Sex of Their First Baby Together! (Exclusive)
Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Tebow are gearing up to add a new member to their team.
Nearly two months after the former Denver Broncos quarterback and the former Miss Universe shared they are expecting their first baby, the couple announced they are having a girl.
“We can’t wait to meet our baby girl and are excited for all the big milestones and little moments in between,” the couple exclusively told E! News. “Getting to watch her grow each day and become the person God created her to be will be such a gift.”
Though, as the pair shared, they had a guess as to their baby’s sex beforehand.
“Funny enough, we both had a strong hunch she was a girl all along, however, we wouldâve been thrilled either way,” they explained. “Knowing sheâs a girl has definitely influenced some of what weâve picked outâthe nursery is mostly neutral, with splashes of pink here and there.”
And as Tim, 37, and Demi-Leigh, 29, learned they were welcoming a baby girl, they’ve been busy celebrating with loved ones by their side.Â
“Weâve mainly been soaking in every second and celebrating her life with our community and families,” they shared. “Even though weâll probably never be fully prepared for whatâs to come, weâve definitely been preparing both emotionally and practically. Itâs been great gaining wisdom from seasoned parents and taking notes on how to best care for a baby.”
As they noted, “We’re slowly but surely turning the guest bedroom into her nurseryâDemi is definitely taking charge of that and having so much fun with it!”

The couple announced their pregnancy earlier this year in January, sharing on Instagram their excitement just under a week before their fifth wedding anniversary.
âWeâre over the moon to step into parenthood together,â the South African model wrote on a Jan. 16 post. âThank you, Jesus, for this incredible blessing and privilege of becoming a mom and dad.â

Tim and Demi-Leigh began dating in 2018 before tying the knot in a sunset ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2020. And while they live in the U.S., Demi-Leighâs native South Africa remains close to their heart, with them recently visiting for a baby shower.Â
âBaby Tebow is in bloom,â Demi-Leigh captioned her Feb. 5 post featuring pictures of the baby shower. âSpending most of my time in the U.S., one of the hardest things is not being able to share some of lifeâs special moments with my friends and family back home in South Africa. Iâm especially grateful for this time to celebrate Baby Tebow with some of the people that have been in my life since I was little!â
Her and Timâs dogs, Paris, Kobe and Chunk even joined the celebration from afar as the âTebow Packâ  were featured onher âBaby Tebowâ cake and on different pieces of dĂ©cor.

Not only has the trio of pups prepared them for parenthood, but they have also inspired Demi-Leighâs childrenâs book Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose, following their dalmatian Paris as they learn about faith, purpose and kindness.
And the pair cannot help but gush over their excitement to become parents together.
“Since before we were married, we prayed we would have the opportunity to start a family, so itâs not necessarily a new conversation, but definitely a more frequent one,” they told E!. “We do have three dogs, which has shown us tiny glimpses of each otherâs parenting styles, but we know raising a baby is a much higher calling we canât wait to experience together.”
In fact, it’s an experience that the couple has already embraced with ease, thanks to those closest to them.
“We really value seeking wise counsel in every aspect of our lives and weâve been asking people who we admire as parents all kinds of questions,” Tim and Demi-Leigh said. “Itâs been so helpful just listening to their experiences and learning from whatâs worked for them, while remembering that our parenting journey will be unique to us. We canât wait to see life through a childâs eyes!”
