Tinashe’s Quantum Baby hit streaming platforms in mid-August without any guest features, much to the disappointment of some fans. Fortunately, she hasn’t taken collaborations off the table completely. On Wednesday (Aug. 28), during an interview with KAYTRANADA for Interview Magazine, the “2 On” hitmaker shared a star-studded lineup of artists she dreams of working with in the future.

“My big bucket list items are, like, André 3000 — that would be a dream. Janet [Jackson], of course. James Blake,” she shared with the publication. “SZA, I think we could make something really amazing. Rosalía, I think we’d make something really dope together.”

Tinashe also revealed why she’s leaning more toward woman-led efforts: “There’s not very many collabs with female artists, so I definitely want to do more of those.”

Referencing her TikTok-viral song “Nasty,” KAYTRANADA later asked Tinashe who could match her freak. “Honestly, when it comes to romance and stuff like that, nobody,” she admitted. “I’m out here dolo as f**k, doing my own thing.” However, the songstress did give props to her fans: “They have been so supportive of this era and have been there for me throughout the highs and lows. I just really, really appreciate everyone who’s held me down throughout every chapter of my career.”

Tinashe’s “Match My Freak: World Tour” will begin at Anaheim’s House of Blues on Oct. 14. Afterward, she’ll be bringing her most recent album to major cities like Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Toronto, to mention a few. Singer and songwriter Raveena is set to join her as an opening act, and the trek’s U.K., Europe, Australia, and Asia shows are expected to be announced later.

In addition to “Nasty,” Quantum Baby housed “Getting No Sleep,” which garnered over 800,000 YouTube views for its visual companion. Other must-listen tracks include “Red Flags,” “When I Get You Alone,” and “No Broke Boys.”
