Hanjalic had won five of his six bouts heading into his clash with the former Love Island star.

It was the 26-year-old’s first bout since beating KSI via unanimous decision in October 2023 after he spent time away due to hand surgery.

And he immediately turned his attention towards a rematch with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, who he outpointed in February 2023.

In his post-fight interview, Fury roared: “Jake Paul’s a b**** and he’s running scared.

“Hey Jake, the hand is fixed now baby, the hand is fixed.

“I fought a guy in here tonight who’s had more than 100 amateur fights, an experienced hitter and he’s as tough as teeth.

“If Jake Paul wants to step inside the ring, I guarantee next time, I will knock you spark out.

“I’ve had two years out the ring, this is after two years, I’ll knock that bum out whenever he wants it.”

“I want to say hello to my beautiful baby girl Bambi at home, my sweetheart Molly, she’ll always be mine forever.

“And I want to dedicate this to my mother and father because without them I wouldn’t be breathing, I wouldn’t be here.

“The reason I am here today is my mother and father. I will love them until the day I die and I owe them everything.

“I’ve been through a hell of a lot these last two year. I’ve been though things that tear men down, drunk, alcoholic; I lost my family for a little bit.

“But I’ve turned things around, I’ve gone from being low to being on top of the world again.”

Fury’s professional record now stands at 11-0 with four victories by way of knockout.

Meanwhile, his brother Roman also appeared on the undercard in the Hungarian capital.

He defeated Josip Pehar with the second stoppage of his professional career to make it five wins from five bouts.

Fury had previously been scheduled to return to the ring in January against former UFC fighter Darren Till.

However, the bout was later cancelled after he withdrew following Till’s threats to use ‘MMA tactics’ in the fight.

The mixed martial artist instead went on to face Fury’s former opponent Anthony Taylor in Manchester.
