Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Releases This July, Day One On Xbox Game Pass
Update [Tue 4th Mar 2025, 6:15pm]: This has now been confirmed! Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 launches day one on Xbox Game Pass on July 11th, and is said to “faithfully remake” the two games from the ground up while also adding new skaters, parks and music.
As expected, Iron Galaxy Studios is the developer behind THPS 3+4, who you may recall for their work on Killer Instinct back in the Xbox One era, and they take over from the now-defunct THPS 1+2 developer Vicarious Visions.
A Career Mode that includes the original tours from both games will be present in 3+4, as will cross-platform multiplayer that supports up to eight skaters at once. It’s mentioned that a NewGame+ mode is part of the package along with new creation tools, while the gameplay is said to “build on the work” started in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.
Interestingly, the trailer you see above features a brand-new ‘Waterpark’ level that’s described as a “broken-down, dried-out park in the heart of the Mojave desert”, and we’re assuming we’ll learn of more new additions in the near future.
Just to follow up on the details mentioned below, the Foundry demo will be available in June for anyone who pre-orders the game (aside from on Nintendo Switch), while early access will be offered to Deluxe and Collector’s Edition buyers. Xbox Game Pass members who want the Deluxe Edition content can pay Ā£18 / $18 for a special ‘Upgrade’ version.
Here are the additional extras you get with the Deluxe Edition:
“Play as both the Doom Slayer (with two outfits, two unique tricks, and a hoverboard) or a Revenant (with its own two unique tricks), not to mention themed skate decks, Create-a-Skater items and bonus soundtracks.”
We’ll throw more details about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 down below, along with some screenshots:
“Get hyped for the legendary return of the birdman himself in the next-gen remake of Tony Hawkāsā¢ Pro Skaterā¢ 3 + 4, arriving on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.”
“Shred the original parks with the classic roster of skaters joined by new parks, skaters, and tricks in a remake of THPS 3 + 4, featuring Career mode, cross-platform multiplayer, enhanced creation tools, New Game+, and more. Alert the neighborhood and grab your skate buddies because the shredās not dead. Itās back and better than ever.”
Original Story: We’re finally getting a new Tony Hawk game in the near future following the incredible Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 back in 2020, and it’s set to release on July 11, 2025 – at least according to an early leak by Dealabs investigator billbil-kun.
We’ll update you with more details when Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 gets properly revealed later today, but so far we know the standard edition will retail for $49.99, and there are also special Deluxe and Collector’s Editions that will eventually provide access to a Foundry demo along with various extras including a DOOM Slayer skin!
It’s also said that like many other Xbox first-party releases, THPS 3+4 will be getting a three-day early access period for anyone who wants to pay a little extra, and it’ll support Xbox Play Anywhere across Xbox consoles and PC as well. There’s no word yet on whether it’ll be included with Xbox Game Pass at launch, but we assume it will be.
