Do you need help playing against Kha’Zix in League of Legends? Don’t worry—here are the best champions to help you climb the LoL ladder.
Kha’Zix by today’s standards is one of the older League of Legends Champions. The Void Assassin was released in 2012 and has seen periods of dominance over every other champion in the game thanks to his insane one-shot ability. Although Kha’Zix may not be the strongest champion in today’s meta, he can still pack a punch in the correct environment. So the question is, how do you stop him? This article will explore the three best counters to Kha’Zix in League of Legends.
Best Kha’Zix Counters in LoL
Skarner
Since his rework, Skarner has been one of the best Junglers in League of Legends right now. He has been picked left, right, and center as he dominates Summoners Rift. So there is no surprise he is one of the best counters into Kha’Zix in League of Legends on patch 14.8. Although Kha’Zix is one of the strongest early-game junglers in the game, Skarner is not as squishy early on as some may predict. Since Kha’Zix will not be prioritizing his jump early on, he may not even level it, this is where Skarner can get the edge as he will be able to stun Kha’Zix and pull him back into the team. Surprisingly, Skarner can somewhat match the pace of Kha’Zix as he can go through terrain, making him a very solid ganker.
Ivern
Ivern works very differently from the other champions on this list. He is not able to fight any champion before level six because of his kit, so try to avoid attempting to counter jungle Kha’Zix unless you have tracked him well enough to feel confident stealing his camps. Once you have level 6, however, you are going to do well into Kha’Zix. Your shields and ultimate will stop you from dying, and if you are counter-ganking Kha’Zix, you will be able to lock him down with Daisy’s knock-up. By the end of the game, you will be not only too tanky but he will not be able to kill your teammates also because of all of the healing and shields they will be getting.
Rengar
This is a battle of who can one-shot the enemy team the most. Rengar and Kha’Zix are two very similar champions in my ways, the first being they are Assassins who rely on skirmishing with the enemy team to get fed. They also are very good at catching people out in transition. Simply by sitting in a bush you can catch the enemy off guard and send them back to the fountain. The main aim of this match up is to match the others pace. Rengar has somewhat of any easier time trying to get onto the enemy backline because of his ultimate, while Kha’Zix can be locked down whilst he is jumping in.
According to Mobalytics, Sejuani has the worst win rate against Kha’Zix in the jungle at 45%. These aren’t the worst statistics by any stretch, but Kha’Zix more often than not will win this match-up. The key in this match-up for Kha’Zix is to invade early and try to set Sejuani behind. The reason for this is that Sejuani will eventually become too tanky and will outscale Kha’Zix to the point where it is difficult for him to burst down Sej. Kha’Zix can match the pace of Sej so be sure to be ganking as much as her in the early game. If you are both getting kills, this benefits the Kha’Zix as he will be able to one-shot the enemy team while Sejuani just becomes tankier, which will benefit her but not her team.
According to Mobalytics, here are the best champions to play with Kha’Zix in League of Legends on patch 14.8. Please note that this article will be updated as new patches are released.
